Managing destinations
How to enable, disable, sync, and disconnect social destinations, and how to use publishing diagnostics to troubleshoot issues.
Enabling and disabling destinations
Each connected social account may have multiple destinations (pages, profiles, locations). On the Social Accounts page, each destination has an Enable / Disable toggle. Only enabled destinations appear as publishing options when scheduling posts. Disable a destination to temporarily stop publishing to it without disconnecting the account entirely.
Syncing pages and destinations
If you have added new pages or locations to your social accounts since connecting, click Sync Pages (Facebook) or Sync Destinations (other platforms) to refresh the list. This pulls in any new pages, profiles, or locations associated with your connected account.
Reconnecting an account
If Nowzer shows a reconnect prompt for a platform, it means the authorization has expired or been revoked. Click Reconnect to go through the authorization flow again. Your destinations and queue are preserved - reconnecting just refreshes the access permissions.
Disconnecting an account
Click Disconnect to remove a social account from Nowzer entirely. This removes all destinations associated with that account. Any posts scheduled to those destinations will need to be rescheduled to other destinations or canceled. This action can be reversed by reconnecting the account.
Publishing diagnostics
If you are experiencing publishing issues, you can access diagnostics by adding ?diagnostics=1 to the Social Accounts page URL. The diagnostics panel lets you test publishing to specific destinations with specific posts, and shows the outbox job status including any error messages. This is useful for troubleshooting why a post failed to publish.
