Cancellation and access

What happens when you cancel your subscription, how the paid period works, what read-only mode means, and how to reactivate.

Canceling your subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal (click Manage on the billing dashboard). Cancellation does not take effect immediately - you retain full access until the end of your current paid period.

After you cancel, your billing dashboard shows the date your access continues until (the "access through" date). During this period, everything works normally - you can create content, schedule posts, manage settings, and use all features. Your subscription status shows as Active with a cancellation notice.

After the paid period expires

Once the paid period ends, your account enters read-only mode. In read-only mode you can:

  • Sign in and view your dashboard
  • Browse your content library, posts, and media
  • View your calendar and schedule history
  • Access your business settings and profile

In read-only mode you cannot:

  • Create or edit posts
  • Schedule or publish content
  • Generate content with AI
  • Upload new media
  • Modify business settings
  • Connect or modify social accounts

Reactivating your subscription

To restore full access, go to the Upgrade page and select a plan. Your existing data, content, and settings are preserved - reactivating picks up where you left off. No data is lost during the read-only period.

Payment failures

If a payment fails, you may receive email reminders to update your payment method. There is a grace period during which your access continues while the payment is retried. If payment is not resolved within the grace period, your account enters the same read-only state described above. Update your payment method in the billing portal to resolve the issue.

๐Ÿ“Your data is safe

Cancellation and payment issues never delete your data. Your posts, media, business settings, and content are preserved in read-only mode for as long as your account exists.
