Reviewing scan results

How to review, edit, and confirm the business information extracted from your website scan before saving your profile.

The review page

After a successful scan, you land on a review page that displays everything the scan found, organized into editable sections. Nothing is saved to your account until you click Create Business at the bottom of the page. Take your time reviewing each section - this data powers your AI content generation and compliance settings.

Sections on the review page

Basic information

Your business name, website, phone number, and email. Click any field to edit. Make sure the business name is how you want it to appear on your published social media posts.

Brand colors

The scan identifies primary and secondary colors from your website design. These are used when generating visual designs and templates. Click a color swatch to change it if the detected colors are not accurate.

Voice and audience

This section shows a summary of your brand voice (tone, formality, style), your target audience, and the pain points your audience faces. The more accurate this is, the better your AI-generated content will match your actual communication style.

Content topics

A list of suggested content topics based on your website. Add topics you want to post about, and remove any that are not relevant. These topics appear as options when you generate content with AI.

Calls to action

Actions you want to drive readers toward - phone calls, website visits, booking pages, emails. The scan extracts these from your site, but you can add, edit, or remove them.

Compliance settings

If Nowzer detects that you are in the insurance industry, you will see additional fields for operating states and product lines. Select all states where you are licensed and all product lines you offer. This configures the compliance rules that will be applied to your content.

Scraped images

The scan pulls images from your website that you can use in your content. Select the ones you want to keep - they will be saved to your media library when you create the business.

Saving your business

Once you have reviewed and edited all sections, click Create Business at the bottom of the page. Your business profile is created with all the information you confirmed, and you are redirected to the dashboard to continue setup.

Do not feel pressured to make everything perfect. You can update any business setting at any time from Business Settings in the sidebar.
