Using the review queue

How to use the compliance review queue to review, approve, reject, or request edits on flagged content before it gets published.

Accessing the review queue

Navigate to Compliance โ†’ Review Queue in the sidebar. The Compliance section only appears in the sidebar when your business has a compliance category set to US Insurance or US General in Business Settings. If you do not see the Compliance section, go to Business Settings โ†’ Compliance and select a compliance category first.

๐Ÿ“Compliance menu visibility

The Compliance menu in the sidebar appears based on your compliance industry setting, not based on whether you have items in the queue. If your compliance category is set and you still do not see the menu, try refreshing the page.

What appears in the review queue

The review queue shows all posts that have been flagged by compliance review and are waiting for a human decision. Each item shows the post text, severity badges, a compliance score, the number of issues found, when it was checked, and the top compliance findings.

Reviewing an item

Use View details on any item to open the full compliance report, including all findings, explanations, suggested changes, and source references. Compliance emails and in-app compliance notifications open to this same queue view with the matching report ready to review. You can also search the queue using the search bar to find specific posts by text content.

Available actions

ActionWhat it does
View detailsOpen the full compliance report with every finding, suggestion, and source reference for that queue item.
AcknowledgeApprove the post to proceed with publishing. Use this when you have reviewed the findings and are comfortable with the content as-is.
Needs EditsFlag the post as requiring changes. The post author will need to revise the content and resubmit for review.
RejectReject the post entirely. The post will not be published and the author will be notified.
Open PostOpen the post in the editor to make changes directly. Available when the post exists in the content library.

Workflow for scheduled posts

If a post is already scheduled when compliance flags it, the scheduling dialog shows the compliance report and requires acknowledgement before the post can proceed. From the compliance dialog on a scheduled post, you can also choose to pause publishing (keep it scheduled but on hold) or cancel publishing entirely.

๐Ÿ’กReview before scheduling

The smoothest workflow is to run compliance checks before scheduling. Use the Run Compliance Audit action on posts in the Content Library, or check the compliance indicator in the editor before clicking Schedule.
