Sign-in methods
How to manage your sign-in options - setting or changing a password, connecting or disconnecting Google OAuth, and using multiple sign-in methods.
Available sign-in methods
Nowzer supports two sign-in methods. You can use one or both:
- Email and password - sign in with the email and password you registered with.
- Google - sign in with your Google account using OAuth. No separate password needed.
Connecting Google
If you signed up with email/password and want to also sign in with Google, go to Settings โ Profile โ Sign-in Methods. Click Connect next to Google. You will be redirected to Google to authorize. Once connected, you can sign in with either method.
Disconnecting Google
If you have a password set and want to remove the Google sign-in option, click Disconnect next to Google in the Sign-in Methods section. You must have a password set before you can disconnect Google - otherwise you would have no way to sign in.
Setting a password (for Google-only accounts)
If you signed up with Google and want to also be able to sign in with email and password, click Set Password in the Sign-in Methods section. Enter and confirm your new password. Once set, you can sign in with either method.
Changing your password
If you already have a password, click Change Password in the Sign-in Methods section. See the Password Management article for the full change and reset process.
