Managing notifications
How in-app and email notifications work, where to find them, how to manage read state, and how to configure email notification preferences for your business.
In-app notifications
In-app notifications appear in two places: the notification bell in the top bar and the full notifications page.
Notification bell
The bell icon in the top-right corner of every page shows a red badge with your unread notification count (capped at 99+). Click the bell to open a dropdown with your most recent notifications. Each notification shows a title, body, and timestamp. Unread notifications have a dot indicator. Click a notification to mark it as read - if the notification links to a specific page (for example, a failed post), clicking it takes you there.
The dropdown also includes a Mark All Read button and a View All Notifications link to the full notifications page.
Notifications page
Navigate to the Notifications page to see your complete notification history. The page shows an unread count badge, a Mark All Read button, and a paginated list of all notifications. Click Load More at the bottom to see older notifications.
Types of notifications
You receive notifications for events that need your attention:
- Publishing failures - when a scheduled post fails to publish after all retry attempts.
- Account connection issues - when a social account needs to be reconnected.
- Compliance blocks - when a post is blocked by compliance review and needs your action.
- Weekly schedule reminders - if you have no posts scheduled for the upcoming week.
Email notification preferences
Each notification type can also be sent as an email. You can control which email notifications you receive from Business Settings → Notifications tab. Each category has an on/off toggle:

Changes take effect immediately after clicking Save Changes.
Notification timing
In-app notifications update automatically. The bell icon refreshes its count periodically while you are using the app. For compliance-related blocks, a toast notification may also appear at the top of the screen to ensure you see urgent items immediately.
