Scheduling a post
How to schedule a post for publishing - choosing between immediate publish, queue-based scheduling, and fixed-time scheduling, with per-destination control.
Opening the scheduling dialog
When you are ready to publish a post, click Schedule or Publish in the post editor, or click Schedule / Publish on a draft in the Content Library. The scheduling dialog opens with three timing options and destination controls.
Timing options
Publish now
Queues the post for immediate publishing. The post is sent to all selected destinations as quickly as possible. Use this when you have time-sensitive content or announcements.
Add to queue
Adds the post to your posting queue. The queue publishes posts according to your configured posting schedule - specific days and times that you set up in your queue or business settings. Each destination shows a preview of its next available slot. This is the best option for maintaining a consistent posting cadence without manually picking times.
If you see "No schedule configured" for a destination when trying to add to queue, go to the Queue page and set up posting time slots for that destination.
Schedule for a time
Pick a specific date and time for publishing. You can set the same time for all destinations, or use the checkbox to assign different times per destination. This is ideal for announcements, event-related content, or posts that need to go live at a specific moment.
Selecting destinations
The scheduling dialog shows all your active, connected social destinations grouped by platform. Check the ones you want this post published to. You must select at least one destination. Each destination is identified by its platform name and channel name (for example, "LinkedIn: Acme Insurance" or "Facebook: Acme Page").
Compliance acknowledgement
If your business has compliance review enabled and the post has been flagged, you may need to acknowledge the compliance findings before the post can be scheduled. A compliance dialog appears showing the issues, severity, and suggested changes. You must acknowledge the findings to proceed with scheduling.
After scheduling
Once scheduled, the post appears in your Queue (if queue-based) or Calendar (if fixed-time). The post status changes from Draft to Scheduled. You can manage the schedule - change times, cancel specific destinations, or reschedule - from the Content Library, Queue, or Calendar.
