Using templates

How to browse, select, and customize design templates for your social media graphics, including setting default templates for AI-generated content.

Browsing templates

Templates are available in the Templates tab of the Content Library (Content โ†’ Posts โ†’ Templates tab). Templates are organized by template set - collections of related designs that share a visual style.

Each template set shows as a collapsible section. Expand a set to see all the individual templates within it. Each template shows a thumbnail preview and its name. System templates (provided by Nowzer) are marked with a System badge.

Setting default templates

When generating content with AI using the "Auto-select templates" option, Nowzer picks templates from your default template sets. To set which sets are used as defaults:

1

Go to the Templates tab

Navigate to Content โ†’ Posts โ†’ Templates tab.

2

Select your preferred sets

Click "Use as default" on each template set you want included in auto-selection.

3

Save your defaults

Click Save Defaults at the top to confirm your selection.

Using templates when generating content

On the AI content generation page, the Templates setting controls whether generated posts include visual designs. Auto-select uses your default template sets. Manual selection lets you browse and pick specific templates for each generation run. Text Only generates captions without any visual design.

Custom templates

๐Ÿ“Custom templates are in beta

Custom templates are an early-access feature. Core functionality is in place and ready to use, but we are actively improving the experience based on user feedback. You may encounter occasional limitations.

In addition to system templates, you can have custom templates. Custom templates can be edited using the pencil icon, regenerated for a new preview, or archived using the trash icon. Custom templates give you full control over the designs used in your content.
