Media library
How to manage your images and videos - uploading, browsing stock photos, searching GIFs, generating images with AI, editing images, and organizing your media library.
Accessing the media library
The media library is available in two places: as a tab in the Content Library (Content โ Posts โ Media Library tab), and as the Library tab when adding media to a post from the editor. Both access the same collection of uploaded and imported media.
Adding media
When you click Add Images (from the library) or Add Media (from the editor), a dialog opens with five source tabs:
Upload
Drag and drop files or click to browse. Supports images (JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP) and video files. You can upload multiple files at once.
Library
Browse images you have previously uploaded or imported. Use the search bar to filter by filename or description. Click to select, then confirm your selection.
Unsplash (stock photos)
Search millions of free, high-quality stock photos from Unsplash. Enter a search term, browse results, and select the images you want. Selected images are imported to your library automatically.
GIF search
Search for animated GIFs to add personality to your posts. Enter a keyword, browse results, and select. GIFs work well for engagement-focused posts on platforms that support them.
AI image generation
Describe the image you want and the AI creates it for you. Enter a detailed prompt describing the scene, style, and content. Click Enhance to have the AI improve your prompt before generating. Generation typically takes 10โ20 seconds. Once generated, the image is added to your post directly.
The more specific your prompt, the better the result. Instead of "insurance office," try "modern insurance office with warm lighting, a professional greeting a client, clean and welcoming atmosphere."
Managing your library
The media library tab in the Content Library shows all your uploaded and imported media in a grid. Hover over any image to see action icons:
- Alt text - add or edit a description for accessibility. This text is included when publishing to platforms that support it.
- Edit with AI - open the AI image editor to modify the image (add text, change background, adjust styling).
- Download - download the original file to your computer.
- Delete - remove the image from your library permanently.
Editing images with AI
The Edit with AI feature lets you modify existing images without leaving Nowzer. Describe the changes you want - for example, "add the text 'Call Today' in the bottom right" or "make the background brighter." You can optionally click Enhance to improve your prompt. Click Generate Edit and wait about 30 seconds for the result. If you are happy with the edit, click Apply to replace the original image.
Limits
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Images per post | 10 maximum |
| Video per post | 1 (images are removed when a video is set as the primary media) |
| Library capacity | Depends on your plan's storage allocation |
